We welcome new volunteers who are eager to reach out to their local communities and country with aerospace education, cadet programs and emergency services. I am honored to be selected to be your new California Wing Commander. Col. Jon Stokes did a great job as Wing Commander and through his leadership and his hard work the Wing is in very good shape. I am not putting out any new initiatives this year as we have plenty of things that need to be accomplished. The wing command structure has changed some. I have appointed two Vice Commanders; LtCol Mike Prusak will focus on assisting Groups 2,4,5, and 6 in northern California , and LtCol Greg Chase will focus on assisting Groups 1,3,7 and 8 in southern California. While their focus is on their four groups, they can make decisions for the Wing at large and assist any group commander. They have nearly daily phone conversations with each other and me to ensure that we have a consistent approach to all the issues affecting California Wing. So while the Vice Commanders have the groups reporting to them, and through the groups, the squadrons, we also have a new Chief of Staff; LtCol Traci Scott. LtCol Scott is replacing L...

Need to get setup with the new CAWG Email?  On Decmeber 9th, all members who had not yet signed into their new email were sent an email to whatever email was in eServices.  This email contained your login and password as well as a link to the Office 365 Web Site.  Please be sure to check your SPAM or JUNK folders.  If you need your password reset for Office 365 please navigate to CAWG Support Ticket and submit a request to have your password changed.

During the California Wing Conference it was announced that there was a Version 2 of the popular Squadron Checkbook template.  This new checkbook contains additional features and bug fixes from previous versions.  Special thanks to Capt Neil Kuykendall and Capt Bryce Kuykendall for their hard work on putting this together.
