On behalf of the over 3,600 professional volunteers of the California Wing of the Civil Air Patrol, I welcome you to our website. Each of our members exemplifies the Civil Air Patrol's Core Values: Integrity, Volunteer Service, Excellence and Respect; and strives to make the California Wing one of the most Contemporary, Adaptable and Progressive wings in the nation.

California Wing is one of the major subordinate units of the Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the United States Air Force. Founded December 1, 1941, the Civil Air Patrol fulfills a three-fold mission in service to its members' community, state and nation. These missions include Emergency Services, Aerospace Education and youth leadership development, known as the Cadet Program.
