California Wing Cadet Day 2024

California Wing cadets,

We are excited to announce that the registration for our very first “Cadet Day” at California Wing Conference is open! The event will include opportunities for leadership development, aerospace learning, medical training, and more! We’ve brought the best instructors, including a number of military academy recruiters and the California Wing Commander, to the event to give you the best learning experience possible, ensuring that your time will be fun, engaging, and well worth your while. 

Cadet Day is held in conjunction with California Wing Conference on Saturday, October 19th, from 09:00 to 16:30 at the DoubleTree by Hilton San Jose, located at 2050 Gateway Place, San Jose, CA 95110.

Activities You’ll Experience:

• Get certified with “Stop the Bleed” training—an essential, hands-on medical skill.
• Sharpen your leadership abilities with thrilling team problem-solving exercises.
• Dive deep into Aerospace Education with sessions taught by California Wing’s best instructors.
• Engage in a Q&A with the California Wing Commander—your chance to ask the big questions.
• Get a sneak peek into the advanced training activities planned for 2025, including an exclusive look at CPC ’25.
• Hear from special guest speakers and take part in much more!

Here’s What You’ll Get for Just $25:

• Registration and lunch at the DoubleTree are included—an amazing deal for a day packed with learning and leadership.

• A special authorized uniform item—more details to come soon!

• Who Can Attend: This event is exclusively for cadets. (Seniors, your exciting agenda is at the California Wing Conference.)

Important Details:

• Schedule: Cadet Day kicks off at 09:00 and runs until 16:30.
• Check-in/Check-out: Arrive by 09:00 for check-in, and we’ll wrap up the day by 16:30, when you’ll be released to your parents or unit leadership.
• Uniform: You must wear your USAF-style blue short sleeve uniform with ribbons.
• Accommodations: This is a one-day event, so no overnight accommodations are planned. Cadets from across the state are welcome, but those in Group 2 and Group 5 in Northern California will find it easiest to attend.
