HF: From Old to New

Goal of presentation:

1. Show members how to Find “NET 8” channels in Eservcies and on the Micom 2 and Micom 3 Radios
2. How to effectively use ALE on the MIcom 3 radios.
3. Provide them with the Yosemite 2-digit call signs associated with units in the Wing.
4. Show them how to find the CAWG Communications Plan a review Alert 1,2,3 activation levels. Special emphasis on HF Schedules associate with Alert 1 activation.
5. Explain the roll of Wing Message Centers and how to interface with them using HF, VHF or Ready OP tools.
6. How to find information on HF Nets and how to participate.

An HF deployable Codan (New HF Radios) and Micom 3 deployable radio will be on display and used during the class.
