The State of California provides Civil Air Patrol members an exemption from sales taxes when engaged on CAP business. California Wing Conference 2024 Staff are working with DoubleTree by Hilton San Jose to have the sales tax automatically exempt for attendees when reserving a room through our dedicated portal. However, attendees should anticipate seeing sales taxes applied to their reservation. California Form ST129 can be downloaded and presented at checkin to remove the sales tax.
Conference Rooms
Conference rooms at DoubleTree by Hilton San Jose are split across two floors. California Wing Conference 2024 occupies the first floor conference rooms. No conference activities are schedule outside the hotel despite some conference rooms being named after other California cities.
Digital displays throughout the first floor public spaces provide a map of the hotel and a conference schedule. Each individual conference room has a digital display outside the door with a room schedule. Fixed and temporary signage provide further guidance.
California Wing Conference 2024 shares the venue with California Cadet Day 2024, so restricted admitance to certain activities may apply.
