Group 2 SAREX (REQ-23-1162)
June 10, 2023 - June 11, 2023
The purpose is to qualify additional mission scanners, mission observers, airborne photographers, ground team, UDF team members, and mission base staff. We plan on using 4 aircraft, one of which may have WALDO installed for DR training, and 4 corporate vehicles. We plan on deploying a ground team and a UDF team with individual or coordinated taskings with us. Operations will be based out of Five Rivers Aviation at the Livermore airport. The exercise will be preceded by a separately scheduled Fam & Prep day prior to June 10. The objective for this exercise are:
1. At least 4 mission scanner training sorties
2. At least 4 AP training sorties. At least 2 WALDO sorties, equipment permitting
3. Providing every opportunity to qualify least of half eligible aircrew trainees who participate on both days
4. Train and provide signoffs for 75% of UDF, ground team, and base staff trainees who participate on both days.
5. 2 ground team sorties
6. 2 UDF team sorties that can accommodate
MPs should be standard or mentored. Prioritize at least one trainee per base staff position and 2 shifts per day of MRO and MSA trainees who are cadets.
