Group 2/5/6 Advanced Exercise

The NorCal SAR/DR Exercise in Sacramento originally scheduled for 1-2 Nov 2025 and 6-7 Dec is now scheduled for 17-18 Jan 2026. If you had signed up for the Nov or Dec dates for this exercise, you will need to sign up again, this time using Google Forms. Hopefully, third time is the charm! This will be an Advanced exercise for qualified personnel focusing on disaster relief activities. WALDO training will be available to WALDO qualified aircrew and aircrew who have completed the WALDO Fam & Prep training before the exercise. Additional sorties may be available for aircrew, UDF and base staff Trainees but these will be limited so sign-up early. We will be focusing on:
- WALDO & cross training with Eldorado County Sheriff SAR
- Tsunami Warning w/Public Address (APAS) in coordination with Humbolt County
- Completing qualifications for aircrew, UDF and Incident command/base staff
Dates: 17-18 JAN 2026. Times: 0730-1700.
Place: Sacramento Executive Airport (KSAC), CAP Building (ramp side of AXIS Jet hanger, between Modern Aviation and the Terminal Building), 6133 Airport Blvd., Sacramento, CA 95822.
Cost: $20/day for food, snacks, beverages and administrative expenses.
