Group 3 Mission Observer Familiarization and Preparatory Training
Want to be a CAP air crew? This is where you start. Upon successful completion of this course, the attendee will be eligible to become a Mission Observer Trainee. Mission Pilots are encouraged to participate on Sunday if you are available and can fly in an aircraft! There will be LIMITED FLIGHT OPPORTUNITIES ON SUNDAY.

- Saturday, April 5, 2025 – Fam & Prep Classroom Session
- Sunday, April 6, 2025 – Flying opportunity for first sortie
Where: Riverside Airport Squadron 5 (KRAL), 6651A Gemende Drive, Riverside, CA 92503
Course Prerequisites:
- GES Rating complete in eServices
- Current as a qualified Mission Scanner
- Commander’s Approval for Mission Observer complete in eServices
- Minimum 18 Years Old
Uniform of the day:
- ABUs - Cadets
- Corporate Working – Seniors
Cost: $15 per person - Lunch and water will be provided
