Group 3/7 SAREX (REQ-25-0665)

The purpose is to qualify additional mission scanners, mission observers, airborne photographers, ground teams, UDF teams, sUAS operators, and mission base staff with a primary focus on ground operations. We plan on using 4 aircraft and 5 to 8 corporate vehicles. We plan on deploying ground and UDF teams with integrated sUAS support, depending on availability.  Operations will be based out of L35. The exercise will be preceded by Fam & Prep training organized by the group or squadrons before 25 April. Cadets are encouraged to participate. Remote air launches with virtual base operations will be used in parallel to in-person ground team operations and support at L35.

NOTE: All sUAS flight sorties will be conducted under Corporate mission number 25-C-3755

OBJECTIVES:

1. At least 2 mission scanner training sorties and 2 mission observer or mission pilot trainee sorties
2. At least 2 AP training sorties
3. Qualify at least 2 eligible aircrew trainees who participate on both days
4. Train and provide signoffs for 35 members of UDF, ground team, and base staff trainees who participate on both days and individually perform satisfactorily
5. 5 ground team or UDF sorties, with sUAS integration
6. Qualify at least 20 individuals seeking initial qualification or re-qualification
7. 6 training sorties with a live target (practice beacon, for example)
8. Include no less than 25 members in GT/UDF operations
