Group 6 Advanced SAREX

The purpose is to qualify additional mission scanners, mission observers, airborne photographers, ground team, UDF team members, sUAS operators, and mission base staff. We plan on using 5 aircraft, one operating from a remote base in Fresno (KFAT), and a few corporate vehicles. We plan on deploying a ground team and a UDF team with integrated sUAS support. Operations will be based out of KBFL. The exercise will be preceded by Fam & Prep training organized by the group or squadrons before 6 April. Cadets are encouraged to participate. NOTE: All sUAS flight sorties will be conducted under Corporate mission 24-C-3639.
1. At least 5 mission scanner training sorties and 7 mission observer or mission pilot trainee sorties
2. At least 3 AP training sorties 3. Qualify at least 10 eligible aircrew trainees who participate on both days
4. Train and provide signoffs for 25 members of UDF, ground team, and base staff trainees who participate on both days and individually perform satisfactorily
5. 2 ground team or UDF sorties, with sUAS integration availability permitting
6. Qualify at least 20 of individuals seeking initial qualification or re-qualification
7. 12 training sorties with a live target (practice beacon, for example)
8. Include no less than 12 members in GT/UDF operations
