Group 8 SAREX (25-T-5179)

CAP will build and demonstrate its ability to execute its core functions and successfully execute mission requests from FEMA, DHS, USAF, and USCG to qualify/requalify mission scanners, mission observers, airborne photographers, Mission Pilots and mission base staff.  OBJECTIVES:

1. Conduct 6 AP air sorties with DSLR image collection. (a) qualify at least 1 new AP. (b) Proficiency/requalification training for AP aircrew positions.

2. Conduct 18 SAR sorties. (a) Qualify 3 new MO and 2 new MS. (b) Proficiency/requalification training for 8 SAR aircrew positions.

3. Provide training/proficiency/requalification for base staff positions.
