NCOS - Cadet Non-Commissioned Officers School (SOUTH)

Please save the date for the upcoming California Wing Cadet Non-Commissioned Officer School South, which will take place at the Army Reserve Center in Tustin, California from 19-21 December 2025.  NCOS is an introduction to leadership for cadets who are learning how to lead small teams (Cadet Senior Airman through Cadet Chief Master Sergeant).  NCOS helps cadets develop their drill and ceremonies, public speaking, time management, and instructional skills. NCOS is a critical step on the journey towards becoming an effective cadet leader.

 

We are now accepting applications for the following cadet cadre positions from Phase III and IV cadets:

  • Cadet Commander

  • Cadet Deputy Commander for Operations

  • Cadet Deputy Commander for Support

  • Director of Public Affairs

  • Director of General Support

  • Seminar Leader (x4-6)

 

To apply for these positions, please send me (Rashid.Tauqir@cawgcap.org) a resume and cover letter, and please copy your unit commander or deputy commander for cadets.  Cover letters must comply with the NHQ template for business style letters without letterheads.  Please indicate your preferred position(s) in your cover letter, but note that we may end up offering you a different role.  Applications for the positions listed above are due by 2359 on Saturday, October 4, 2025.
