The largest Veteran's Day Parade in the country is held annually in Fresno, CA. The parade, marking its 103rd year, is televised by the local NBC affiliate and by the American Forces Network, nationally and internationally. Our CAP entry is sponsored by CAWG Group 6, hosted by Fresno Composite Squadron 112, and is open to all CAWG members. This year Squadron 112 will again host a free breakfast before the parade and the VFW Post 8900 will be offering a free BBQ following the parade for participants. Cadet Color Guard and marching flights will lead our entry, followed by an AE STEM and Rocketry Float with a hay bale ride for CAP family members. The entry continues with a "downed" aircraft followed by CAP pilots and aircrew, and ground team members and vehicles. The CAWG Chuck Wagon may also make an appearance again this year. Cadets play a major part in our entry, forming the Color Guard and marching unit, and as AE and GTMs interacting with parade spectators. Please contact Lt Col Neil Kuykendall for further information and to confirm your participation.
