Encampment Registration OPEN!
California Wing,
I am excited to announce that registration is now open for Student (first-time) and Advanced Training Squadron (returning) cadets for the 2025 CAWG Encampment!
Encampment is a great opportunity to learn important skills which will build a strong foundation for future success, to create lifelong relationships, and to overcome challenges and accomplish more than you ever thought possible; this training event is highly encouraged for all cadets and is a prerequisite for the General Billy Mitchell Award (C/2d Lt). For those who have graduated from encampment, consider applying for the Advanced Training Squadron (ATS) to receive additional training in a broader scope of CAP's missions, including: CPR, acquiring ES qualifications, earning the model rocketry badge, receiving practical leadership training, and much more.
The encampment will be held at Camp Roberts from 21 June - 29 June for first-time students and 19 Jun - 29 June for ATS students.
STUDENT PRE-REQUISITES: Be a CAP member, complete Achievement 1 (Curry) by time of registration.
ATS PREREQUISITES: Previously have graduated from an encampment.
To register, you must have forms CAPF 60-81, CAPF 160(I), CAPF 161(I), and CAPF 163 if you are under 18 years old. Be sure to get your Squadron Commander's signature on CAPF 60-81.
COST: $475*

Spots for first time students will be filled by need with cadets soon to age out or close to Billy Mitchell being considered first and then other cadets. There are limited ATS student spots and they will be slotted on a first come first serve basis.
Furthermore, with support from the US Air Force, CAP provides Encampment Scholarships for cadets who are financially disadvantaged. Applications for Summer CEAP Round 1 are open, and will be accepted until 01 May.
