Several Key Points for the August update. Please share widely as needed.
- Our first Cadet Programs Planning Conference is set for 6-8 Sept At Camp San Luis Obispo, CA
- This is a Senior Only event, uniform is Polo, there is no Cost for this event
- 📢 CAWG Cadet Program Officers and interested Commanders and Deputy Commanders of Cadet Units who are interested to plan and lead CAWG training events are invited to join this event.
- Please arrive on Friday, the conference will end on Sunday at Lunch
- We will be planning CAWG Cadet training events for the next 18 months and briefing the training calendar to Col Newton and his staff on Sunday morning
- Our schedule also calls for in depth discussions on key focus areas and team building Saturday evening.

- CAWG is hosting the Pacific Region Cadet Competition this Labor Day Weekend at March ARB in San Bernardino, CA. ⚠️ We are in need of a few drivers and other support team members including logistics to help us conduct this event. Special request to Group 3 Seniors - please reply by mail if you can help us for any or all of the weekend from 30-Aug to 2-Sept. -🙏 If interested - Please email me!
- We are planning to have our first ever “Cadet Day” at the California Wing Conference ’24 in San Jose, CA on Saturday 19-October. More details to follow for our special one day Cadet focused event. Registration details to follow. We are looking forward to seeing you at CWC ’24

- 🇺🇸 We are so excited about the plans for Cadet Programs Conference ’25 at the Pali Retreat in Running Springs, CA on President’s weekend 14-17 February 2025. Please save the date and make your plans to attend our cornerstone event for Cadet Programs. We are planing for this event to be our largest and best CPC ever and hope that you and your unit can join us. General Registration will open in August, please check the CPC website for more details.
5. Oregon Wing is announcing that applications for all cadre positions at Winter Raptor VIII (2024) are still open! Please ensure this message reaches any interested cadets in your units. To be considered for a position, please submit applications by the deadlines specified in the attached announcement document.

- Last Interview: 14 August
- Position Announcements: Around 20 August
- If written applications meets their criteria, applicants will be contacted via email to schedule an interview. Please note that these dates are subject to change
