2025 A Day Out With Thomas

It's once again time for the annual Day out with Thomas fund raiser here in sunny SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA !!!!  It's a fun time to meet and greet with the public and show the community our support. You get to meet great people , learn about as well as see trains and trolleys of a bygone era, 

 

      A Day out with Thomas Location: Southern California Railway Museum 2201 South A Street Perris CA 92570 

                      Time: 0700 - 1800 all 5 days

 

NOTE FROM CAPT. HAWKS:

    For those cadets that are interested staying overnight. I need to know how many of you are out of school on Monday November 10, 2025. I am going to work on getting at least one plane for o-rides and planning a bivouac/mini SAREX/ES training day if I have enough cadets and staff that will be staying over. That means that for those of you who can, you have the option to stay from Saturday morning all the through till Tuesday evening rather than going home on Sunday evening and returning Tuesday morning. If there is enough interest I will begin working on it right away. This is not official yet as I need to get it all approved prior to the event.

For several years now, Squadron 59 has organized CAP volunteers to provide crowd traffic management and safety for this wonderful community event. This year's "Day Out With Thomas will happen November 1st,2nd,8,9,11.

 

CAP volunteers are needed to sign up in advance for this event. Links to follow in later email closer to the event.

Uniform of the day for all 5 days are as follows:

    CADETS: ABU'S

    SENIOR MEMBERS: Corporate alternative or polo ONLY!!! Senior members are not authorized to wear ABU's during a fund-raising event.
