In this session, “VECTOR-SARDF: UAV-Based Search and Rescue Direction Finding System,” Lt Estrada will explore how unmanned aerial systems (UAS) and software-defined radios (SDRs) can enhance Civil Air Patrol search and rescue operations. He will discuss system design, signal detection, and real-world applications in locating Emergency Locator Transmitters (ELTs).
