What is AESA?
The Aerospace Education STEM Academy (AESA) is an exciting and immersive program designed for Civil Air Patrol (CAP) cadets to explore the world of aerospace and STEM. Through hands-on learning with STEM kits, exciting tours, and expert guest speakers, cadets will gain invaluable knowledge in aviation, space exploration, robotics, programing and much more. This is your chance to ignite your passion for STEM and become part of the future of the aerospace world!
When is it?
AESA 2025 will take place during the summer, from July 13 - 19, 2025. Mark your calendars for a week of unforgettable experiences!
Where is it?
The Academy will be held at Edwards AFB in the high desert of Southern California, with exciting opportunities for cadets to tour top aerospace facilities and engage with industry professionals.

How much does it cost?
The cost for AESA 2025 is about $400 per cadet. This includes all materials, tours, meals, and housing during the week. Scholarships are available, so be sure to inquire!
