COW - Cadet Officer's Weekend

Good afternoon,

I am excited to announce that Cadet Officers' Weekend is back! COW will be a great opportunity for cadet officers from across the wing to develop officer-level leadership skills, strengthen relationships within the cadet officer corps, and have fun!

Dates: OCT 23-25, 2026 (in conjunction with the California Wing Conference)

Location: Wyndham Visalia in Visalia, CA

Prerequisites: All participants must be at least a Cadet Second Lieutenant and must be at least 16 years old. Waivers for the minimum age requirement may be offered, but there will be no waivers for the minimum grade requirement.

Here are some highlights of what you can look forward to during COW:

• Discuss the future of Cadet Programs with the CAWG Director of Cadet Programs, the CAWG Commander, and other VIPs
• Attend the Annual California Wing Conference Awards Banquet
• Receive personal mentoring for your CAP and real-world goals
• Participate in fun group activities with your fellow cadet officers
• and much more!

Cadet Officers' Weekend is for cadet officers, so we want to hear from you! Please fill out this survey to provide your input on what you think the curriculum for the weekend should include.

Participant registration will open soon! (Do not register for the main California Wing Conference; COW will have its own registration site.)

Senior Members: If you would like to help support COW, please email me (kendal.grossgold@cawgcap.org) and 1st Lt Varsha Penumatsa (varsha.penumatsa@cawgcap.org). You will have ample opportunity to step out of COW to attend other conference seminars.

We look forward to seeing you there! Thank you!
